Theo and His Boy

Dedicated to my husband aka Boy

Back in November I made this book for my husband’s birthday. I’m not the best artist — hence why Boy looks like he is rolling on illegal substances — but I think the message is pretty clear: my husband loved our Boston terrier, Theodore Rex (he was a pretty monstrous T-Rex). Loved. In March Theo passed away from an aggressive form of cancer. We were completely and utterly heart broken and the pain still lingers — some days are better than others. He was my husband’s first dog and their bond was such a thing of beauty. We will always love our little stinker. I haven’t emotionally been ready to post this until now but hopefully it will put a smile on your face. I’m finally ready to smile myself.
